• Trumenba is a 3-dose vaccine series protecting against meningococcal serogroup B disease
• Standard 3-dose schedule: Dose 1 at elected date, Dose 2 at 1-2 months, Dose 3 at 6 months
• The second dose should be given 1-2 months after the first dose
• All three doses are required for full protection in the standard schedule
• Particularly important for adolescents and young adults ages 16-23 years
• Also recommended for individuals at increased risk for meningococcal B disease
• Common side effects include pain at injection site, fatigue, and headache
